Our Upper Body Microwave Heat Pack (U.S. patent #7,125,417) is the upgraded version of our best-seller Shoulders & Neck Relief Pack. It’s a multipurpose heating pad and cold pack designed for the upper back, shoulders, and neck. A velcro strap secures it safely, allowing the user free mobility while applying the pack. The Upper Body Heat Wrap is reusable and can be used as a heat pack, a moist heat pack, a cold pack, and an aromatherapy pack.
It is commonly used by people to relieve upper back pain and stiff neck and shoulder aches and reduce stiffness around the upper torso area. You can also use it to relieve minor headaches, reduce swelling and muscle stiffness, and promote muscle relaxation.
Nature Creation’s Upper Body Heating Pad is filled with our 100% natural aromatherapy blend – a mixture of 10 herbs and grains. Apply the Nature Creation® Upper Body heating pad on the desired area for relief. Do not apply directly to the skin.
The recommended duration of each application is 10-30 minutes. Repeat as needed.
Use caution when applying to sensitive parts of the body. When using on children, adult supervision is advised.
To use it as a hot pack: Prior to heating, remove any paper and plastic packaging from the wrap. Heat the wrap in the microwave for 1½ minutes. If the wrap is not warm enough, heat for another 15 seconds. To reuse after application, reheat for 45 seconds. If the microwave does not have a turntable, turn the wrap over halfway through the heating process to even out the temperature of the wrap and avoid hot spots. Do not overheat the product.
For moist heat: Prior to heating, mist the fabric lightly with water. Do not saturate the product. Do not soak or get the herbs wet.
To use it as a cold pack: Put the wrap inside a sealable plastic bag and put it in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours.
Storage: When not in use, store the wrap in a sealable plastic bag in the freezer. Prior to the first storage, heat the wrap in the microwave on high for 1 minute and then store in the freezer as instructed.
Cleaning:
Pack – wipe the product with a wet cloth. Do not saturate the product & do not soak or get the herbs wet.
Caution:
- For external use only. Use as directed.
- Do not overheat the pack. Overheating the pack may cause burns and will damage the product.
- Side effects may occur in people with allergies to filling ingredients. If allergies occur, discontinue using immediately.

I have had one of these for about 20 years. It is not warming up as well as I would like, so I replaced it with a new one. I can’t tell you how many times this has saved my neck. A couple of weeks ago I had such bad neck and shoulder pain. I was trying to get a massage appointment and couldn’t, I pulled out my heating pad , put it on my neck for about a half hour heating it twice. The next day, I had no neck or shoulder pain, whatsoever. Sometimes I just use it for comfort on a cold winter night. It’s like getting a warm hug. Every house should have one.
