- After taking out the ice pack from your freezer, you should use soft plush side. This will help accommodate for that intense feeling of coldness.
- You can even apply more gel to a specific area if you need more focused results.
- Place the ice pack on top of your aching body part (Back, Quad, Hamstring, Calf, Shin, Shoulder, Knee).
- Optional – It’s a great idea to reverse the ice pack and use it for 10-15 more minutes.
Recommended cold therapy session is 5-20 minutes every 2-4 hours

I have mentioned in other reviews that I walk with a cane. I have osteoarthritis and have started showing signs of MS. I wake in the mornings with an inflamed knee on the right, and some mornings both knees will not bend.I was anxious to try this gel pack.I love it!I have chunky thighs, so I was concerned it would not fit around on the upper part of the pack.NO problem, the straps are very generous in size.Now every morning hubs brings me coffee along with the gel pack and by the time I finish, my knee can bend.It is a bit bulky and it has some weight to it so it is not really for walking around.It has different sides, one side being a velour type material, the other side is plastic. It freezes well and I have no trouble strapping it around.Very well made, sewn strongly, should last a very long time so the price to me is worth it.

This appears to be well made and the straps hold nicely when used. I found it to be somewhat bulky, but I don’t know how it could be made to where it wasn’t. The edges of it don’t always conform to the area. The smaller gel packs you can purchase don’t work well with larger areas and this is a nice size covering a much larger area. A plus is how it was made to afford two different cold settings. It looks like it will last for many years.

I really like this Reusable Knee Gel Pack with Elastic Straps. It is easy to use, stays in place relatively well, and stays cold for quite awhile. My husband has had great success with helping his injured knee with this. It has been really helpful in reducing inflamation on and around his knee. This is a great product and we’re really glad that we have it.

Time to toss out that bag of frozen peas we keep for joint aches and injuries! This gel pack is easy to apply & adjust (best of all, it stays in place!) and stays nicely cold for quite a long time. It does get extremely cold after being in the freezer an hour or so and definitely needs to be used over a small towel or wash cloth.It’s hard to rate value-wise as that depends on how often it can be used before needing to be replaced. It seems to be well-made out of quality material. I would probably order another one if this one stays durable.

This is a great knee pack! It’s nice and soft to the touch, cools down nicely and stays cold for a while. It has its own bag for storage or for keeping in the freezer, and the straps are easy to use and really hold it in place, even when walking around.My father is having knee problems, and the doctor told him to use cold on it. It took some prodding to get my father to actually try it, but now he’s actually using this ice pack on his own without me telling him to use it, so that’s a good sign!
