Nature Creation’s Lumbar Relief Pack is a multipurpose hot and cold pack designed for the lower back area. It is reusable and can be used as a heat pack, a moist heat pack, and a cold pack and as aromatherapy pack.

The Lumbar Relief Pack is commonly used by people for lower back pain relief. You can also use it to relieve bruises, reduce swelling and muscle stiffness and promote muscle relaxation.

The Lumbar Relief Wrap is filled with our 100% natural aromatherapy blend – a mixture of 10 herbs and grains. It combines the benefits of heat therapy and cold therapy for lower back pain relief with aromatherapy for relaxation, making it a great stress relief & lumbar pain relief treatment at home.

Apply the Nature Creation® Lumbar Relief Wrap on the desired area for relief. Do not apply directly to the skin. Recommended duration of each application is 10-30 minutes. Repeat as needed. Use caution when applying to sensitive parts of the body. When using on children, adult supervision is advised.

To use as a hot pack: Prior to heating, remove any paper and plastic packaging from the wrap. Heat the wrap in the microwave for 1½ minutes. If the wrap is not warm enough, heat for another 20 seconds. To reuse after application, reheat for 45 seconds. If the microwave does not have a turntable, turn the wrap over halfway through the heating process to even out the temperature of the wrap and avoid hot spots. Do not overheat the product.

For moist heat: Prior to heating, mist the fabric lightly with water. Do not saturate the product. Do not soak or get the herbs wet.

To use as a cold pack: Put the wrap inside a sealable plastic bag and put in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours. Make sure to remove the protective cover from the product first (if any).

Storage: When not in use, store the wrap in a sealable plastic bag in the freezer. Prior to the first storage, heat the wrap in the microwave on high for 1 minute and then store in the freezer as instructed.

Cleaning:

Pack – wipe the product with a wet cloth. Do not saturate the product & do not soak or get the herbs wet.

Protective Cover – as instructed on the washing instruction label sewed to the cover.

Caution:

For external use only. Use as directed.
Do not overheat the pack. Overheating the pack may cause burns and will damage the product.
Side effects may occur in people with allergies to filling ingredients. If allergies occur, discontinue using immediately.

Aromatherapy uses essential oils which can be extracted from flowers, seeds, barks, herbs, and roots. While there is not much evidence to support its effectiveness in treating or preventing any illness, there are several clinical studies that have found it to be an effective complimentary therapy method.

This is the only place I buy our “warmie packs”. Been using them since my kiddos (now 23 and 25) were little. They are high-quality and have a wonderful lavender/herbal scent. Such a comfort on a cold night, or when one of us isn’t feeling well. I like to sleep in a cooler room, and with a warmie pack tucked in behind my back or at my feet, I am toasty! I’ve given them to friends and family through the years and everyone loves them! Highly recommend!

Q: Can I use the product hot & cold?

A: Yes. The product intended for multi-purpose applications. You can heat the product in the microwave and use it as a heat pack or cool it in the freezer and use it as a cold pack.

Q: How long does the product stay warm?

A: It stays warm about 30 minutes (the warmth gradually decreases as time passes). Recommended Hot Therapy treatment time is 10-20 minutes.

Q: How long does the product stay cold?

A: It stays cold about 15 minutes (the coolness decrease as time passes). Recommended Cold Therapy treatment time is 5-15 minutes.

Q: How long will the aroma last?

A: The aroma can last up to 2 years. With time the aroma will gradually fade. The longevity of the aroma depends on frequency of use and proper storage (see storage instruction).

Q: Is it reusable?

A: Yes. You can use it over and over again. Simply reheat or refreeze according to the heating and cooling instructions on the product label and packaging.

Q: How can I clean it?

A: Wipe the product with a wet cloth or baby wipes. Do not soak or get the herbs wet.

Q: How should I store the product?

A: When not in use, we recommend to store the product in a plastic sealable bag in the freezer. It will preserve the herbs and will increase the longevity of the aroma and the product life. It will also be ready to be used as cold pack. If a heat pack is needed, take it out of the freezer, remove the plastic bag and heat the product in the microwave.

Q: I am sensitive to strong scents, do you have unscented products?

A: Yes. Some of the products are available unscented (filled only with wheat and flax-seed). If the product you want has ‘Aroma’ option (next to the color selection), choose ‘UNSCENTED’ option.
